The Yale Summer Abroad Credit application is the process by which you can apply to earn general Yale credit for study abroad through a designated (non-Yale) program during the summer.
- Before applying, review the application process, eligibility requirements, and deadlines on the Study Abroad website.
- Research your study abroad program options.
- Complete all required application materials. Retroactive applications for Yale credit for coursework completed abroad will not be accepted. You must apply before going abroad and by the relevant deadline. To apply, follow the instructions below.
The Summer Abroad Credit application period opens on December 15, 2016. All applications for Summer Abroad Credit will be reviewed after the March 1st deadline and decisions are generally made within 2 weeks.
