The Yale Year or Term Abroad (YTA) Program application is the process by which you can apply to earn general Yale credit for study abroad through designated (non-Yale) programs during the academic year.
- Before applying, review the application process, eligibility requirements, and deadlines on the Study Abroad website.
- Research your study abroad program options.
- Complete all required application materials. Retroactive applications for Yale credit for coursework completed abroad will not be accepted. You must apply before going abroad and by the relevant deadline. To apply, follow the instructions below.
