Event description:

All students are invited to the Global Health Studies information session, especially sophomores interested in applying to the Global Health Studies Program by the November 19, 2021 deadline.

The Zoom link for the open house is available on the Jackson Institute’s Upcoming Events calendar, under the October 29 listing.

Application Process

Each fall, the GHS MAP admits a cohort of Global Health Scholars who fulfill the program requirements and are awarded an official designation on their transcripts upon successful completion of the program.

Students typically apply to be a Global Health Scholar in the fall of their sophomore year. On occasion, juniors with compelling interest in the GHS MAP may be considered for admittance into the program. Second-semester sophomores and second-semester first years who have taken a leave of absence may also apply this fall.

Students of all majors and interests are encouraged to apply; no former global health experience or coursework is required. We are interested in learning about why you are interested in global health, and what led you to apply to this program.

All students with an interest in global health, including those not formally admitted into the MAP as a Global Health Scholar, have the ability and are encouraged to pursue coursework and activities in global health studies.

Application

Applications are due November 19, 2021. Applications will open on October 29, 2021, following the info session.
