All students interested in the Thomas C. Barry Travel Fellowship are invited to attend an info session to talk to Yale students with independent international experiences.
The Thomas C. Barry Summer Travel Fellowship supports Yale first years, sophomores, and juniors who are planning independent projects, work, or research in the Global South or emerging-market countries.
The fellowship also supports term-time projects in the spring or fall semesters.
Upon returning from their experiences, Barry Fellows are invited to dinners throughout the year to learn from one another, meet other global leaders at Yale, and develop connections that will last a lifetime.
The mission of the Barry Fellows program is to create leaders with international experience, who can help those less fortunate, learn from those experiences, and bring those lessons back to the Yale community and beyond.
Applications for the summer term open December 1 and close March 3.
