Event time:

Event description:

Applications are being accepted for the Intensive Certificate in Human Rights, with a due date of March 5. This new certificate program, developed by the Jackson School of Global Affairs, is distinct from the uncapped, non-selective Certificate in Human Rights that is open to all Yale College students.

The Intensive Certificate in Human Rights requires students to enroll in an introductory course, as well as five elective courses related to human rights, and a non-credited senior colloquium. Roughly fifteen students will be selected for the first cohort, and formal programming, including the introductory course, will begin in the fall 2025 semester.

The Intensive Certificate in Human Rights program will be overseen by David Simon, Jackson’s assistant dean for graduate education, and Bonnie Weir, assistant dean for undergraduate education.
