Online course selection (OCS)
- OCS worksheets hold a maximum of 10 courses; a counter will display how many slots remain as you add courses
- Some departments require preregistration and post results prior to the start of term
Actions you need to take:
- Enter on OCS the four to five (4-5) courses you plan to take, and others you are seriously considering, by the day before classes begin
- Update your OCS worksheet daily from the first day of classes until you seal your schedule
- Refer to the Preference Selection, Preregistration, and Applications web page for deadlines and links to department instructions for many courses requiring preregistration
Resources for course enrollment:
- Online Course Information (search course information, syllabi, course evaluations, etc.)
- Yale BlueBook (search and compare course information, syllabi, course evaluations, etc.)
- Course Demand Statistics (find course enrollment numbers, updated daily)
