Event description:
First-year students and sophomores are encouraged to contact their college advisers by April 15 to set up an advising meeting to:
- debrief this semester
- discuss your plans for the fall ‘22 semester including
- course selections
- potential major
- extracurriculars
- discuss your summer ‘22 plans and options
- review your goals for your first year and discuss your goals for your sophomore year (and beyond)

Sophomores will find this a good time to discuss their plans for declaring a major by the end of this spring semester.
Have you already declared a major? Your DUS or the DUS’s designee is then your academic adviser and you should contact that DUS or your department about advising hours and practices.
