Meeting Your First-Year Advisees

Lunches in the Residential Colleges

As per the Council of Heads, all college advisers — even those not otherwise eligible for lunches in the residential college dining halls (staff members, for example) — are entitled to three lunches per advisee per term.  Bon appetit!

How do you ensure that you’re not charged for your lunch?

  1. Hand your Yale I.D. to the desk attendant in your college
  2. Ask the desk attendant to enter you as a “Grad Affiliate” and to swipe your card
  3. The screen will flash green to indicate that your I.D. has been accepted and no charge will accrue to you
